Challenge #36 Texture

This weeks challenge is all about adding texture.
There is no restrictions on what you can use to create it. You could: heat or dry embossing, use molding paste, stencils, rub-ons, paint, stamps, fabric or your paper crimper. The possibilities are endless.

I got a little carried away with texture on my project this week.

We are looking forward to seeing how you add texture to your creations this week!

Happy Memorial Day to all my American friends and thank you for our military's service.  That said, I am enjoying my three day weekend so I am uploading an older and favorite layout of mine.  I rarely do anything "fancy".  I am more of a traditional scrapper without a lot of bells and whistles.  So when I think of texture, I just do something special with my patterned papers.  Here I use one of my favorite tools, the Distrezz-It-All.  With that and patterned papers I think I have given some texture to this layout.

Its not often that I use a lot of texture in my projects. It's a little out of my comfort zone - but isn't that what challeges are all about - stretching our creativity.
In this layout I added some texture using micro beads. I love the look of micro beads and I really should break them out more often!

I used beads, too!  I  hand stitched some seed beads as a border on the circle element of my layout.
