Use Your Stuff # 345 - Enamel dots

HI and welcome to a new week and new challenge here at Use Your Stuff!
The stuff we want to see this time is  Enamel dots!
I am sure like me you've collected a bunch of these tiny little wonders
over the past few years.
Have you come up with some creative ways to use them?
I filled in the negative space of a chipboard shape to create a fun frame!
aaand pretty much decimated my stash LOL.

And the my fabulous teammates have these:

I was inspired by the sunset in the background of my picture & decided to use my black enamel dots to make "sun rays" around the soccer ball patterned paper.

I love adding enamel dots to add a little pop of color to my layouts or cards.  For this layout I used some summery enamel dots three places and even though they were from a different collection/company, I think they match perfectly.

Amanda
I found a bunch of dots from different collections that matched this layout - they were the perfect compliment to what I had done already!

Tina
I mainly just use them for scattering on my layout for that finishing touch :)

Enter with the linky below showing us what you like to do with enamel dots!

Challenge #344 - Numbers

Hi everyone! It's Amanda here with this week's challenge!
Our topic this week is "numbers". This is SUCH a versatile topic and I
cannot wait to see all the fabulous entries!

For mine I used a giant number 8 that I cut on my cameo to help document
the start of our eighth day of our vacation to
Nova Scotia back in 2011. (I'll catch up someday!)

Take a look at what our amazing design team came up with!

Doreen
I used large alpha stickers for my title that includes the year:
2018

My son, Ryan, graduated from Iowa State in December and this is his graduation card.

For this challenged, I made a highlights memory page in my traveler's notebook.  I used number stickers to highlight the days the photos were taken on.

Since both of my boys have birthdays this week it was only fitting to make a birthday card for this challenge.

A card with lots of license plates in the background.

#343 - Furry Friends ► Majo

Hello my crafty friends,

it's Majo here today to host our new challenge.

 The theme this week is

FURRY FRIENDS

So get out your dies, stamps, stickers or whatever you like most and join our fun!

This is my inspiration for you, one of my favorite Tim Holtz dies ...

Check out what the awesome girls on my design team have come up with .....

I chose to use this photo of my daughter's boyfriend and their two dogs on a paddle board this past summer.

Did someone say Furry Friends?!
I am a huge animal lover and have 3 of them.
This layout is of 2 of them, one who is no longer w/ us...my dog.
We did adopt another pet before her passing bringing us temporarily up to 4, but now we are 3.
This is Ivanna (dog) and Panini (cat) doing their favorite thing: sleeping!

Amanda

The first thought that comes to mind when I hear Furry Friends is these two best buddies. Unfortunately we have lost our Tucker (the one further back in the photo) since this due to cancer but we are so fortunate to have so many great memories with him!

Karrie

Here is my best furry friend Mini. I think it's the cutest thing ever
when she sleeps with her tail curled over her nose.

Tina

Our Furry Friend :) and part of our Family

This is my furry friend; my chihuahua Lila.  She was having a terrific time visiting her Dad at the firehouse a few months back, so I decided she would be the perfect subject matter for this week's theme "Furry Friends".

Challenge #342 - As Time Goes By

Hey everyone!  Welcome to our first challenge of the new year!  It's Gail hosting and our challenge is  As Time Goes By.

My layout showcases photos taken in the 1960s at a pioneer village somewhere around Toronto.

I was inspired to create a comparison layout:
my son and I when he was still drinking out of a bottle -vs- my son and I
now that he is old enough to drink wine.
Yup, time has certainly gone by!

For this challenge, I did a layout about ringing in the New Year.  And since I used my traveler's notebook to make my layout, I felt free to dig way back in my stash and use some die cuts I have had for years, including this clock representing the passage of time on the spread.

Amanda

I did a layout with our little guy and his cousins talking about how it feels
like just yesterday that his cousins were his size!

I opted to scrap a layout involving Disney and ice cream...my daughter is a big fan of the Mickey ice cream and she gets one almost every time we go!

Loved the Christmas decoration that was created by 11. Maria

Love to see the reason for the season in cards and this one is delightful. I agree with the maker of the card Very simple and very lovely. Handmade By Leona
