#419 Mood Board

 Hi Everyone.

We have a fun mood board challenge for you today.  If you aren't familiar with a mood board, all you have to do is look at the photos, find something that inspires you and use that to create your project.  It could be a color, a design or an icon or even a combination of things.  There is lots of fun things to see in this...bees, stars, balloons, books, hearts, flowers, script.

Here is what the DT has created for you.

Helen - from the mood board I used the colours, balloons, hearts and script paper.  From my stash I used some paper, ribbon and card that I've had for a long time!

Doreen
I was inspired by the colors of the board and the bee photo
12x12 Traditional Paper layout

Julene

I was inspired by the bee and the colours of the yellows and blues.

#418 - Enamel Dots

Thank you so much everyone for playing along in our collab with Double Trouble and to the whole Double Trouble team for having us share their challenge!  I will post our highlights and winner later today.

On to this week's challenge!  ENAMEL DOTS!

We would like to see some enamel dots on your projects this week, and yes Nueovo Drops are fine as well...if you are anything like me you have a ton of them!  Don't forget that enamel dots can be in shapes as well and they are good too!

The DT has some great projects to get you started!

Gail

Doreen
I love enamel dots!

I sprinkle them on just about every layout I create.
I even have a subscription to a monthly kit that includes a set of enamel shapes each month.

Here I used 3 sparkly emerald green enamel dots on my 6x8 Traditional Paper Layout documenting a moment of utter bliss for our pet mini-pig Hamlet; belly scratches!

For the challenge, I used Nuvo drops to create enamel dots to accent my florals on my memory spread.

We look forward to seeing all your dotty projects this week!  Don't forget to link up below!

#417 A Double Trouble Collaboration

Hey everyone! We are once again excited to be partnering with the Double Trouble Blog for this month's first challenge!

Our challenge on the UYS blog is to use a Tartan or Plaid/Checks on your project!

This is going to go so well with the Double Trouble blog!  They are all about the green and the tartans/plaids this challenge so once you enter ours, go over and enter theirs as well!  Click here to go there! :)

I am also going to offer a small prize to one lucky winner that plays along with  BOTH challenges!  Just comment below that you played in both and you will be entered into the draw. This draw is open internationally.  As I have a limited number of entries allowed for this inlinkz  you may only enter 1x for the challenge.

Let's check ( :) ) out the DT projects for you this week!

                                                            Julene

Plaid paper goes well on a boy layout.

I decided to make something masculine using a piece of checked/tartan paper from Stampin' Up and my favourite birthday die from Uniko:

For my project, I featured a picture of my daughter & her friends wearing matching tartan plaid PJ bottoms during a sleepover.

**please note that if all the link ups are full (I  only have 100 total) please leave your link in the comments and you can qualify for the giveaway!***
