Challenge # 348 Mid Challenge Reminder - Double Trouble Team Up

Hey Everyone!

Just a reminder that we are pairing up with Double Trouble Challenges for two weeks!  The original post and link up is here....

Create a magic themed project and make sure you head over to Double Trouble for their challenge to add to it, and you can be entered to win a prize on their blog!

We had some great DT projects for you last week and here are a few more to keep you going!

TAMMY
For my family, our trip to Disneyland and San Diego in 2018 was a magical time.  It was the first time that our son had seen the mouse!

Doreen
Well, this seems to be a common theme w/ us for this challenge,
but come on, how could it not?! Harry Potter IS Magic!
::smile::
I created a page of the first time my whole family entered the Magical World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, California...soon after it's Official Grand Opening
Though my son and I had been privy to a sneak peek the month prior - shhhhhh!
::wink::
I have yet to scrap that story.

From the Double Trouble Challenge, my tic-tac-toe items are:
Gold/Silver - Sentiment - Punch/Die Cut

Amanda

Well Disney is definitely a magical place for many but to me there is no sight more magical there than this gorgeous castle! I couldn't stop taking photos of it! From the Double Trouble blog challenge I used the line: blues, stamp, punch (hearts)

Heather R

There is nothing more magical to me than Disney...and what's more magical than Tinkerbell herself?  I opted for Thing 1 from the Double Trouble Blog Challenge and went across the bottom of the board with Die Cut/Punch, Vellum and Ribbon, with a bit of Thing 3 as well since my layout involves the most magical fairy ever! :)

Challenge #348 A Double Trouble Team Up

Hey everyone!

We are so happy to team up with Double Trouble Challenges again for another great challenge!  This challenge will run from February 18th until  March 3rd.  So two full weeks for you to get in on the fun!

A bit about our friends at Double Trouble:

Welcome to Double Trouble - We're two retired ladies bringing you a new challenge blog where we hope you find fun and inspiration! We're not affiliated with any companies and welcome all participants. Our challenge will include Thing 1-Trouble Maker the Basic Challenge, Thing 2-Double Dare being a surprise element in which you may or may not decide to participate and Thing 3-Twisted Sister, will appear with an optional twist to the Challenge.

Our theme for you this challenge is Do You Believe in Magic?

We want you to create a project that has a magical feel to it....a place that is magical to you, a magical item, a magical being?  Whatever says magic to you.....

When you enter our challenge this week, be sure to run over to the Double Trouble Challenge blog and see what their co-coordinating challenges are and link up with them as well!  The more aspects of the challenge you do, the more entries you will receive to win their prize!

Here are some DT projects to get you started!

Here in the magical land of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, Florida, we went on the ride "Escape from Gringotts".  So much FUN!

I paired this magical challenge with Double Troubles Tic Tac Toe challenge using the diagonal line going left to right: Silver and Gold (the coins); Image Stamp Digital (the digital images are the ephemera); Ribbon.

I used a fairy die cut to create my "magical" card this week. I also paired my challenge with Double Trouble's Tic Tac Toe board using the first row down of silver/gold, sentiment, and die/punch:

Karrie
there is something magical about a cat!
Used the 1st column in the tic tac toe - gold, a sentiment, and diecut

Stephanie
Nothing says "magic" to me like Harry Potter!  This is my daughter at a Harry Potter book release party a few years ago.  I used the 1st column in the tic tac toe board to pull this project together.

For this challenge, I chose to Tic Tac Toe across the middle using a sentiment, image stamp and glitter paper.  I also added magic by coloring an Elf stamp.

02/10/19 - "In The Kitchen" Highlights

Hi all!
Happy Sunday!

I hope you had fun w/ our most recent Challenge, "In the Kitchen".
I'm a huge fan of scrapping food so I certainly did!
I also enjoyed seeing your creations, though I admit I am a bit behind on visiting the blogs as I had a sick pet to tend w/ the last few days (good news, he is MUCH better now).
But I did take a quick look-see and though it was difficult to choose, I did decide on these 3 as my faves:

- Great layout design, corner cluster, and food/eating photos!

-Super cute, stamping and sequins!

-You had me at Mexican Food and Margaritas, LOL
Also love the title font and use of straws as embellishments!

Don't forget to grab your badge:

Thank you to everyone who played along!
Come back tomorrow for another challenge.

Doreen

02/04/19 - Challenge #346 In The Kitchen

Hi there...
Doreen here!
::waves::

This is my first time hosting a challenge since becoming a Design Team Member w/ "Use Your Stuff".
I was excited to be chosen to host this particular challenge because it couldn't be any more perfect for me: it's called  - In the Kitchen!
Okay, so TBH I don't cook or bake, but my husband does...he bakes A LOT!
But regardless, this challenge isn't ONLY about being in the kitchen, you can create any type of project that is Food or Drink related!
I am a huge Foodie, check out my Instagram if you want to see ::wink:: Doreen's Insta,
so even if I don't have a photo of my husband's baked goods to scrap, I have plenty of other food-related photos to use instead.

I'm sure you have something to share also...
so please, come play w/ us and let me see those yummy creations!

Here's mine:

though it doesn't show a close-up of the food in the store, it does give you a glimpse, and a list, of all the yummy things you can purchase at this "Disneyland of Gas Stations" we came across on one of our trips to Vegas last year. Plus peep that cool Candy Land like "tower"!
I used a lot of old Doodlebug and Simple Stories on this page!

And here for your viewing pleasure are the rest of the Design Team projects:

Here's my card showcasing CHOCOLATES! One of my favourite foods.

Amanda

This layout features one of my all time favourite foods - fish and chips!

Was inspired to get a LO done for our first Disney Dole Whip....

I chose to do a card with the Holiday Anya stamp from the Greeting Farms.  I love her delicious cup of hot cocoa!

7. Desperate Housewife Craft
Like how she used them to add texture to her stencilled background.
pink and main diggity dog products

9. Zouave Cards: Little Hearts!
Sweet little heart-fall design on her Valentine's card.
