Sports

Hello Tina here with you today for this fun challenge :)
Here it is everyone, the last week before school starts up again for most of us anyway.  Some may have already started!  As we think about school, we are inspired about all the sports teams that start up in the fall....thats our theme this week...SPORTS!

We can't wait to see what you have to show us, but in the meantime, the DT is here to get you started!

Our oldest GK's are both sporty so this was an easy one,
and A joined girls fastball this year!

My family are not sporty but back in my young days I played hockey.
These 2 photos are from Dad's old slides and show me with my hockey stick and Dad in his bowls outfit.

I featured action shots of my daughter going after a ball during a soccer tournament.

But since I can only pick 3 favourites, here are mine (in no particular order):

Wendy Jackson - this cute little mermaid is just adorable.

Cheryl Even - Love this layout that includes lots of fun photos.

Esther Asbury - the flowers on this card are stunning!

Congrats ladies and don't forget to grab your buttons from the sidebar.
Check back here tomorrow for a brand new challenge.

Challenge 371 - Mood Board

Hello all! Gail here. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and able to keep cool!

For this week we have a mood board challenge based on this beautiful photo.

For my card, I was inspired by the green walls and large lamp shade.  Here's my card:

Here's what our other talented designers have come up with.  Hope you can play along.

                                                                           Julene
I was inspired by the lime green, the red books and the plants.
The butterflies are wood veneer I painted.

The photos of the dogs on the wall, and the green color of the wall, inspired me to scrap these photos of my dog frolicking outside, near the green grass.
These photos mean a lot to me because Spotty lost the use of his back legs last March (2018) but regained use of them around Christmas time (2018), YAY!

Amanda
I was inspired by the green, orange and brown in the photo to use this p
hoto where my son is wearing similar colors.

Heather R

The green is the first thing that pops out to me, followed by the brown of the table and the lighting...and the books reminded me of school...so I was inspired to scrapbook these photos of my daughter from her senior session last August.

For the challenge, I used the colors of the mood board to create my weekly spread for my birthday week.

Challenge #370 -Summer Activity

Hello bloggers!  It's Monday and so that means a new challenge day!  Hope you are all enjoying your summer!  This week our challenge is brought to you by new DT member Dawn!

Her challenge is to create a project highlighting a summer activity...maybe it's baseball, swimming, boating...we want to see how you spend your summer!  The DT have created some awesome projects to get you started!

Karrie
Our summer activity was playing mini-golf and having ice cream cones afterward!

My daughter and her BFF spent much of the summer floating around our pool on flamingo floaties.

Summer activities for us include my husband's garden throughout the summer. His hobby is our garden and I help when it's time to harvest.

Going to the beach is a favorite summer activity here in Australia.
I documented a day at our local beach last summer.

Challenge #369: Inspired By Disney

Hey guys!  Heather R here with this week's challenge and it was definitely a fun one for me as we are creating a project inspired by Disney.  Nothing makes me happier than combining Disney and Scrapbooking!  These photos of my daughter in her Prom dress reminded me of Belle from Disney's Beauty and The Beast and so obviously that was my starting point.  Since the challenge was just to be "inspired" I decided to keep the Disney touches simple...

Check out the rest of the Design Team and then be sure to share your projects below!

Doreen
I'm not much of a Disney fan, but my son is!
I stole this photo from his Insta-Stories, of him and his then fiancee, now husband, getting
ready to watch "Incredibles 2".

Amanda
I've only visited Disney once and it was a great experience! I can't wait to take our kids!
This was from our trip a couple years ago.

Gail

This layout includes photos taken on the Safari Ride in Disney World, Florida.

Photos taken at Disneyland California.
Title was hand done to match the other primary coloured embellishments.

I chose to do a Disney inspired planner spread for next week in my standard sized Traveler's notebook. I am not a huge Disney fan but I love these stickers that I found.  Page is somewhat before the pen(cil).
