Challenge #36 Texture

This weeks challenge is all about adding texture.
There is no restrictions on what you can use to create it. You could: heat or dry embossing, use molding paste, stencils, rub-ons, paint, stamps, fabric or your paper crimper. The possibilities are endless.

I got a little carried away with texture on my project this week.

We are looking forward to seeing how you add texture to your creations this week!

Lynne
Happy Memorial Day to all my American friends and thank you for our military's service.  That said, I am enjoying my three day weekend so I am uploading an older and favorite layout of mine.  I rarely do anything "fancy".  I am more of a traditional scrapper without a lot of bells and whistles.  So when I think of texture, I just do something special with my patterned papers.  Here I use one of my favorite tools, the Distrezz-It-All.  With that and patterned papers I think I have given some texture to this layout.

Barb
Its not often that I use a lot of texture in my projects. It's a little out of my comfort zone - but isn't that what challeges are all about - stretching our creativity.
In this layout I added some texture using micro beads. I love the look of micro beads and I really should break them out more often!

Bronwyn

I used beads, too!  I  hand stitched some seed beads as a border on the circle element of my layout.

Challenge 35 Time to Strip

Happy Monday everyone.
This week I'm challenging you to use strips of paper on your layout. The more, the better.

This is what I came up with:

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. Don't forget to post your finished projects here through Mr. Linky so we can all check it out.

Lynne
I love playing with strips of paper, but this time I used strips of ribbon. Paper would work just as well. What better way to USE YOUR STUFF.

Joy
I have to agree, using strips of paper or washi tape as I did this week is awesome.

Bronwyn
I made this 2-page layout using one sheet of old Scenic Route paper.  I cut all of the strips apart and used them to accent my black and white photos.

Color Challenge #34

Hi everyone.  It is time for this months color challenge.   I would love to see what you can do with AQUA/TURQUOISE, RED & PINK.  As always, you can use black and white as  accent colors.

Meet my daughters.  I know I have scrapped this picture before, but never in 12 x 12 format.  I do a lot of 8.5x11 for the individual albums for my children.  I used some old patterned papers I had to make the flags.  I am loving flags these days.

Anyway, enjoy this challenge.  I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.  Thank you for playing along.

Barb:
When Lynne posted this challenge, I was excited at the colour combo. I love this combination.

# 33 - Nature Calls!

Hello Everyone! Bronwyn here!! It's my week to challenge you all to use up some of that stash collecting in your craft area.  So pull it out, dust it off and make something ......

NATURE themed!!!

My layout features pictures from a visit to a State Park in Florida where we saw snakes, turtles, frogs and ALLIGATORS!!

Barb
I love doing nature based themes. I love the colours I get to use.
The adorable 3-D embellishments for this page are from K&Co. So cute!

I have some computer issues, so I am late to the party.
