Challenge #367 - Masculine

Hello All!  Renee here hosting this week's challenge.  This week the challenge is masculine.  I don't know about you, but I always forget to do masculine projects for the guys in my life.  I always tend towards girly projects.  I was thankful for the push to do a masculine card.

For my project I created this card using a cute boy stamp which I altered to look like my son who will most likely get this card.

Below are the other projects created by our design team.  When you are done perusing these, don't forget to like up your project to the challenge.

Here's my masculine card for this challenge.

I tend to gravitate toward stars for masculine projects!
I did this card for my son to give to a little friend of his for his birthday this week.

Welcome to this week's challenge at Use Your Stuff.  This week, we are challenging you to create a project that uses one or all of the 3 b's; birds, bees or butterflies.  These are a few projects our DT created for this theme:

For this project, I featured pictures of my family discovering bird eggs during the Spring.

I have used the Tim Holtz stamps with according dies. The background is stamped with an image form VivaLasVegaStamps.

used this butterfly spot to journal on and another for decoration in my cluster.

Doing some Birdwatching even on vacation

Here's my Bird Ballad Lever card.  On my blog post I have a link to my You Tube video showing how to make a lever card.

Challenge #365 - Music

Amanda here with this week's challenge! The theme this week is Music! This is one of my absolute favourite things to scrap! I would estimate that 75% of my layouts have been inspired by music in some way, whether it be lyrics, song title or artist name! So for this week we want to see how music inspires you to create!

For my project this week I used the title and lyrics to my country's national anthem
 - only fitting to do a layout since today is Canada Day!

This is what the DT came up with!

I used the song "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold to scrap that time that my husband
had someone to go on "Supreme Scream" with, because I'm too chicken to do it, LOL
Product Info:  Elle's Studio, Kelly Purkey, Simple Stories, Tim Holtz,
and Webster's Pages

My card includes musical note patterned paper and a stamped tag that has musical notes in the background.

13 Stickers - 8 Alpha -
on this Travelers Notebook layout of my dog Ivanna (RIP) and cat Panini
preventing me from making my bed before leaving for work.

Challenge 363 - Mood Board

Hello all! Gail here with this week's challenge - a mood board.

Use the image below to be inspired to create your project...It could be the color scheme, or a certain icon/image that you see, is it an element or a pattern?  Maybe it is the whole feel or theme of the board itself.  Have fun with it and show us what inspires you!

Don't forget, we still have a position available on our DT!  If you are interested, make sure you email with DT Call in the subject line and let Tammy know that you are interested! Open worldwide, no DT experience is necessary.  Tell her a little about yourself, and why you would like to be on the DT and then a link to your blog/instagram/FB page ( wherever you post your creations).

For my project I used some of the colours, patterns and a llama.

Had a little fun using up some super old stash to scrapbook these photos of my three goofballs!

I used some of the colors and the outdoor theme to make this birthday card.

Challenge #362: Vintage

Hey everyone!  A new week and a new challenge!  Our theme for you is

So this could be some vintage papers, a vintage photo, a vintage technique, use your imagination and use your stuff! :)

Let's show you what the DT has come up with for you!~

For this project, I featured a "vintage" picture of myself twenty one years ago at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

This photo of me and my brother with our parents couldn't be more vintage since it is over 60 years old!  I also dug out my stash of Simple Stories Legacy collection was couldn't be more perfect!

Mini book for a friend with some Antiquities and Graphic 45

Every definition of "vintage" that Alexa (my Amazon Smart Home Device) shared w/ me
had to do w/ wine; and she gave me 11 definitions!
So I was inspired to create a layout of the first time my husband and I went Wine Tasting:
The PP, "I'm With Awesome", Stencil, and Ink Spray have been in my stash for MANY years!

An old building in my town one of 3 theaters that we had and the one that is still as it was from the outside. Used some vintage papers and embellishments from my stash.

Challenge #361: Summer Fun and a DT Call

Hey guys!  Heather R. here with this week's challenge :)

With the beginning of June comes the beginning of Summer...and all that entails! My little one has been obsessed with kites lately every since his preschool had a "Kite Day" so I pulled out some older Echo Park to scrapbook these photos of him finally getting to fly his kite!

Check out the rest of the Design Team and then be sure and share your projects! many things come to mind when I hear that word.
Mostly though, the end of school and my project for this challenge is the
"ultimate" end of school: High School Graduation!
Here are photos from my son's High School Graduation back in June 2014:

Summer is sitting on the patio with your favourite cat(s), surrounded by trees, green grass and beautiful flowers.

Summer is camping! We often take in a round of mini golf on our camping trips.

We are also sadly saying goodbye to Lori and to Christine, who have decided to scale back a little bit and focus on the home front for awhile.  We wish them all the best and it has been such a pleasure having them on the team and being inspired by them.

That being said, we have 2 positions available for our team.  If you are interested in being a part of UYS, please send an email to with the subject line of DT call.  Tell us a bit about yourself, your scrapping history, and maybe a link to your blog or scrappy album.  Please note that we do our communication via FB so you should have a FB account to give you access.  Previous DT experience is not necessary and it is open worldwide.

We look forward to hearing from you and don't forget to play along in this week's summer fun challenge.

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day, welcome to today's challenge:

This beautiful Mood board is your challenge, take it in any direction that speaks to you it's got such a summer vibe to it :)
Tina here as your host this week. The top left corner water color spoke to me, reminded me of the trip we took to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium last year:
also I included a border arrows and most of the colors in the mood board less the pink. To see more of this layout stop over here at my blog

This moodboard told me summer, beach and tropical beauty.

I was inspired by the colors of the mood board.

I was inspired by various elements of the mood board to create this project; the colors, the arrows, the buttons, and the butterflies.

I have created an art journal spread with VLVS Stamps!

Now it's your turn to give this challenge a try :)

#359 For the Moms

Hey everyone!

This week's challenge is celebrating Moms - your mom, your grandma, aunt, cousin, sister, step mom, so many different kinds of moms that we have!

Show us how you celebrate that special mom in your life!

The DT has some great projects to get you started!

I did a simple Mother's Day card for my mom using up some old 6x6 papers and a
couple of stamps - the flower one was recently gifted to me from my aunt.

I used the  Echo Park "I am Mom" collection to scrapbook these pics of me and my 3 kiddos from 2015...

I was inspired to scrap these "Us-ies" (Us + Selfies) of my children and me from Mother's Day 2017. I turned my photos into black & white because the bad
lighting made the colors in the photos look awful.
I used the Mama Llama collection from Simple Stories because I love llamas and I chose to use the brown PP from the collection because brown is my favorite color! Everything else is from Elle's Studio.

I have created a layout of my daughter and granddaughter on Mother's Day of this year.

Here's a fun fold card I made for my sweet Mother-In-Law for Mother's Day.

Here's the Mother's Day card I made for my mom.
Note: the word "Mother's" was added after I took this photo.
