#352 Black and White

**  We've been having some trouble with mr. linky's new format.  If you have previously tried to link up since Monday, please feel free to backlink! **

Welcome to this week's challenge at Use Your Stuff.  This week we are challenging you to use primarily black and white with a pop of color on your project.  We can't wait to see what you all create!

For this project, I used the orange from the Snapchat flames as my pop of color for my black and white scrapbook layout project.

I used a B&W photo and B&W papers with a pop of yellow.

Karrie
This challenge was perfect for my POP Goes Perfection layout,
and I went with yellow like the game pieces.

Amanda
I needed to make a birthday card for my sister in law so I used up some
scraps of black and white and added in some pink for color!

Challenge #351 - Washi tape

Hey Everyone! Lori here today to share this week's challenge. For this week's challenge, it's time to break out the washi tape and put it to use...use a little, use a lot, we want to see that awesome washi take a turn on your projects this week!

I have created a quick and easy thank you card using some washi strips:

I used a lot of different washi tape from my stash.

Doreen
I used to be a washi addict, buying it and using it constantly, but then
I stopped and my stash has basically sat unused for years.
I challenged myself to use mostly washi on this 2-Pager
for my "Book of Me":

Journaling: "That moment when
the hoodie you're wearing sums you up perfectly
LOL #Mood"

I have a scrapbooker's confession....I don't actually have a lot of washi tape (*gasp*)...and most of what I have is holiday related.  I was able to find a couple of more generic looking rolls to add some embellishment to my layout though...

Amanda

I have a fairly decent stash of washi so I had no problem finding some
Disney coloured washi to add to this layout!

I am a stamp collector.  I just ordered this new stamp set with a washi strips stamp and the cutest washi related sentiment.  I had to break it out for the challenge.

Now it's your turn. We can't wait to see your creations using washi tape this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Challenge #350: Stitching; Real or Faux

Hello you all, Tina your hostess here with you and this week's challenge is Stitching! It can be real stitching or it can be the faux stitching...

This is the layout I created using faux stitching:
You can see more of my layout over at my blog.
So lets see what the girls on the team created for this fun challenge.

Since I can't sew at all, I decided to use one of my favorite frame stamps from Darkroom Door along with the poppy, also from DRD.

Stephanie

For my projects, I used patterned paper that featured stitching to accent pictures of my dog sleeping with her sloth stuffed animal.

I did hand stitching on my photo mat featuring my granddaughter passing her driver's test.

Karrie

My mom was a sewist so I used her machine on this page.

Amanda

I did some faux stitching to add a little extra to this layout of the dog checking out the baby's room.

Now it's your turn to try this challenge.

Challenge #349 Rainbow

Happy Monday and Happy March!  Hey guys...Heather R. here to host this week's challenge and it is all about RAINBOWS!  When my daughter was younger she loved getting her face painted and the "frog princess" was her favorite...so much so, she chose that same design more than once over the years when we were visiting Walt Disney World. I paper pieced a simple rainbow to mimic the rainbow in her face painting.

Check out the rest of the Design Team below and I hope you will be inspired enough to share a project with us this week!

I created a Traveler's Notebook spread with
photos my son posted on his Instagram for National Coming Out Day
Can't get more Rainbow than that, LOL

Gail

While I didn't use a rainbow per se on this card, I did use the rainbow colours.

Amanda

I used a variety of rainbow colors on this birthday card for my favourite aunt.

I used rainbow colors and a rainbow die cut on my traveler's notebook spread.

I used rainbow colors and a rainbow in the card featuring a stamped image of Bob Ross.
