Challenge #23 - Feeling Sketchy?

Good Monday morning eveyone. It's time for another challenge. This week we're doing a sketch challenge. Easy. Check out the sketch below, and let it inspire your creativity.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with. When you complete your project, make sure you come back here and link it up to this post by Mr. Linky so we know where to find it.

First the sketch:

Here's my layout to go with this sketch:

Now let's see what the other ladies came up with:

Bronwyn
Great sketch, Barb!! When I saw it I knew exactly which pictures I wanted to use for it! To make it my own, I rotated the sketch and added my title to the central square.

Lynne
I confess, I used this sketch, which I love as it is very much my style, and 2 others from another challenge and combined them all to come up with this layout of my 'new to me' new car.
I hope you like it too.

Joy
I am late to the party this week, for my layout I think I only borrowed the photo placement
from the sketch. This is a great sketch for 4x6 photos.

Challenge #22 - Color Challenge

Hi everyone, Lynne here.
This weeks challenge is a color challenge using photos from my oldest daughter's Bat Mitzvah, Nina is here with her grandfathers, both have since passed. The color scheme was teal, purple and yellow gold. Have fun. I love forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Joy

I ended up adding in some grey to Lynne's colour combo. It took me a while this week
to come up with something, mostly because purple is not a colour I use.

Barb
I wasn't sure, at first, what I was going to do with these colours, but then when I saw these pictures I knew they were perfect. I don't use a lot of purple, but I really like the finished project.

Bronwyn

Not a lot of time on my hands this week (I've been writing report cards!) so I decided I would use the colour combo for a starting point on this greeting card:
This kind of card-making is much more enjoyable than the "report" kind!  So I kept on going:
 And going:

OK ladies, show us what you can do with this one! Don't forget to come back here and link it up.

Challenge #21 - Photo Inspiration

Hello All. Bronwyn here.Welcome to another Monday at Use Your Stuff. While spending way too much time on Pinterest, I came across this lovely picture of felt and fabric hearts. Right away I was drawn to the colour combination and the hand-made quality of the little hearts. I knew this had to be the challenge for this week.

CHALLENGE - Use this photo as starting off point for your creation. Think colour, shape, texture - whatever inspires you.

Hear is my take. I used the pink, red and turquoise colour combination, the heart shapes and the stitching.

Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!!

Joy
I thought I was the only one with paper left in my stash of this old paper line!
I made a double page 6x6 layout this week. I think these will go in my project life album.

Lynne

I decided to be a bit whimsical. I had this old Imaginisce line of papers that the had the perect colors. Ithen added a few nicely places hearts. These are a couple of scrapper friends from my local scrap group.
I look forward to seeing who else jumps int this challenge.

Barb
I was inspired by the colours in the photo. It's not often that I get to use more girly colours so I really enjoyed working on this one.

Like Lynne, I'm looking forward to seeing what others come up with for this challenge. Don't forget to link it up to this thread so we can check it out.

Featured Project - challenge 19

Chek out this layout that was submitted by Helen for Challenge #19 - Line it Up and Stretch it Out.

I love how Helen used both the photos and the the decorative trim to move your eye across the page. Great job on this Helen and thanks for playing along.

Go visit Helen's blog: Never Enough Time and leave her a comment to let her know you were there ... and while you're there, why not become a follower of her blog so you can continue to be inspired by her work.

Challenge #20 die cuts and tags

Hey there UYS peeps.

Welcome back, it's time for another challenge and this week I want you to....
use your die cuts and tags. You may have some sticker sheets hanging around from paper collection packs those qualify for this too. Dig into your stuff and find those die cuts.

I grabbed a bunch of die cuts and randomly covered the background on this layout and created a tone on tone look with lots of texture.

I can't wait to see how you're going to use your die cuts.

Happy Crafting!

Lynne

I don't have a die cut machine, so I have to rely on precut, store-bought die cuts. I used flowers and the scallop border from some old stash that has been hanging around forever. I can't even tell you which set it was. Just don't throw anything away as sooner or later it will match something. Just enjoy your scrappy time. There is always some treasure to unearth in your stash.

Bronwyn Here! Gosh I love using my stuff up! There's no guilt in buying anything new if you make sure you use up old stuff, right??

For this layout, I use an title diecut from WeRMemory Keepers and some diecut stars from October Afternoon.

Barb

OK, I'm a little late to this party! Sorry about that. I really think life should have a hold buttone.
Here's my layout for this challenge. All the die cuts were made with my cricut. The photos were put into a collage using Picasa - love that programme!!
