Challange #165 - Red and Green

Amanda here with this week's challenge. With Christmas and the holiday season fast approaching I thought it fitting that we do a Red and Green challenge! It can help put us in the holiday spirit and maybe motivate you to get some cards completed if you do them! I'm sharing a card and a layout!

Here's my card for Christmas, in different range of greens and reds. These are washi tapes from MT and word stickers from October Afternoon

Renee

I have been practicing coloring green combos.  This is a card that I made using one of my new combos.

Highlights Challenge #163 - Color Pallet

Happy Monday everyone!  Due to the Thanksgiving holiday here in the United States
,we had a very quiet week last week on the blog,
so rather than picking a winner from the three entries,
all three are the winners this week!!

Please grab your blinki on the side bar and we hope to see you again soon
here at Use Your Stuff.  Make sure to look at this weeks challenge, Cheverons!!

Challenge #164 - Chevrons

Amanda

I'm on a mission to make a bunch more Christmas cards and washi is a quick way to get them done! I used three different chevron washi tapes here!

Renee

I am always trying to use the many die cut files I purchase for my die cut machine.  For this card, I used a chevron border as the base for my card.

Our Guest DT Marion has created this stunning card using Chevrons for this challenge.  Don't forget to stop by her blog to see more of her work.

Show us what you have created with chevrons this week!

Here are the colors:

I've been making birthday cards for our clients at Meals on Wheels,

Challenge #162-Stamps

I don't know about you, but I have sooo many stamps.  I'm not sure why even, since I was never really a stamper. I do love to color, so I guess that's why I purchase so many.  I am really trying  to make better use of them.  I especially love this stamp set from today's project, since the designer is someone I know from online.  Your challenge this week is to find a stamps set in your stash and use it on a project.  It's amazing what fabulous things you can create with your stamps!

Amanda

I admit I am not much of a stamper either but the time I do tend to use them is on cards. I did a set of five Christmas cards and stamped the snowflakes and sentiments on them. The sentiments are also heat embossed in black.

Hello all, Michelle here. This week is my turn and the theme is Washi Tape. You are supposed to use at least one washi tape. If you do not have washi tape, you may use paper or tissue tape. Amanda

I used four types of washi tape behind my photo in this layout.

Renee

For this weeks challenge, I used several different washi tapes to make a background that I die cut with my die cut machine.

I decided to use Washi to make my little present for my card.
