Hey Everyone!  Tammy here.   It is a no-challenge week for the DT this week, so we don't have a challenge for you.  However, just for fun.  Leave a comment below telling us what your Easter plans are and you will be entered to win this crafty prize from me.

The contest will be open until 6pm MST on Saturday April 4 and the winner will be announced on Sunday April 5.

Good luck and thanks so much for playing along with us each week.

Challenge #178 - Stickers

Hi everyone! Amanda here with this week's challenge. This week I want to see your STICKERS! We all have them laying around and I know in my scraproom they often get pushed aside for die cuts or stamps. Show us your sticker stash! Here is my example - the stars, word stickers and lion are all stickers.

Michelle Looi - Here's a little notecard with some alphas/number stickers

I created a tag using Ranger Distress Ink in 3 colours: Pine Needles, Wild Honey and Brushed Corduroy, spritzed&flicked with water and stamped a background with a "Netting" stamp. I added a sticker from PSX Design and added embellishments from my stash. The sentiment is from an unknown (to me) manufacturer!

A while back, I went crazy buying up all the MME label and 5x7 sticker sheets,
so I went crazy using them up here!

Challenge #177 - Create your own background

Hi everyone, this is Martha Lucia  and i'ts my turn for our weekly Challenge and I have chosen background. Very simple, you have to create your own background using whatever you want, stamps, embossing folders, distress ink, embossing paste, metal sheets or stencils. The possibilities are endless.

Just tell us what you use and add the directly link to your post.  Let's see all the creations of the Design Team made just for you...

Martha Lucia - Background created with Metal Sheet and Stencil, using emboss technique.

Michelle Looi - Background created with Dylusions with a stencil, and a little watered down effect

Karrie - It was fun to just play with this!   I layered papers, gesso, mist, texture paste and
stencil work, lots of stamping, an old dictionary page, some netting.

Amanda - To create my background I used some green glimmer mist and a 12x12 stencil.

Lori - To create my background I randomly stamped circles in two different colors.

Fanny- I make my background with a masking tape

Renee: I made a masked and misted card base, as well as used a background stamp to make a background image on my doll,

Challenge #176 Highlights

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone for submitting so many gorgeous creations for my very first challenge here at Use Your Stuff - Make It Monochromatic.  There were so many beautiful works of art that I really struggled to just choose three to highlight.  But here it goes:

Your little baby card is just so cute, so soft & feminine

What a stunning all blue layout featuring a handsome young man!

Can't go past such a striking black & white combination.

Ladies don't forget to grab your badge from the sidebar for your blogs.

Thank you again to everyone who showed us all how striking monochromatic can be and how versatile it is as well.  Til next time.

#176 Monochromatic

Hi Everyone

Shirley here with this weeks challenge "Make it Monochromatic".  That's right you heard me correctly.  What you create is up to you,  whether it's a card or a layout, altered art or an ATC as long as it is monochromatic.  For my example I chose to make a card using shades of purple with white.

Thank you to my very talented fellow Design Team members who also created some fantastic monochromatic example to inspire you.
Majo

I used Apricot paper and the "Dried Marigold" distress ink from Ranger for my debossing. To stay in the line of colours I used "Rusty Hinge" for the sentiment and an according paper to mat.

Lori - With St. Patty's Day just around the corner, I chose to use shades of green with a touch of white.

Karrie   I am so tired of looking at monochromatic white (snow up here in the north) so I went with my favourite Ocean colours for this!

Amanda - I chose shades of blue for this layout of my little man!

Julia here--I chose to keep my layout in the blue family and use the inspiration of my background paper that contains both blue and green

I really can't wait to see all your entries so please come on and join the fun of my monochromatic challenge!
