Challenge #327- Lots of Colour

Hey Everyone,

This weeks challenge is to use lots of colour in your project, in anyway your creative mind takes you. For me I have used mixed media and bright coloured embellishments to make a 12x12 layout of my niece when she was a baby. So go ahead and get bright and colourful!!
Amy.

Heather R

I opted to use a black and white photo of me and my besties and then some old KI Memories with lots of color and sprinkled some colorful rhinestones around as well...

Lori
I have created a card using (almost) every color of the rainbow! You can read more about it on my blog here.

Amanda

I used some bright colors to accent the bright colors of the shirts in these photos!

Lots of happy colors used in my copic coloring, and in the ink blended background.

I added lots of colour to this BoBunny stamp.

Challenge #326- Mood Board

Good Monday Morning everyone! We hope that your weekend was amazing and you got some crafting done!  We'll we are here with another fun challenge to get your Mojo working for this week.

Look at this awesome mood board! Obviously, although the days are counting down, we are not ready to give up summer yet.  There are so many great ideas - tropical leaves, pineapples, flamingos, a day at the beach, sunshine, water and summer fun...corals, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and pinks...what do you see that inspires you?

Don't forget to link below and tell us what inspired you!
.
-For this project, I was inspired by the yellows and pinks in the mood board.  I featured pictures of my oldest daughter on a photo shoot with one of her dear friends.

I made a pen holder with a brusho background and quote stamps from Darkroom Door. There are a lot more pictures on my blog, if you'd like to visit?

I was inspired by the yellow sun burst and touches of pink. And of course I had to add a pink flamingo! This is my daughter (the blond in front) and her friends who enjoyed a recent weekend at Dewey Beach, Delaware.

Amanda

I was inspired by the yellow, blue and green in the photos.

I was inspired by the palm trees and blues.

I was inspired by the water and a nod to the beach with my papers and embellishiments

Challenge #325 - Summer Fun

Happy Monday!  Heather R here...Summer has pretty much come to an end...at least where I am!  My daughter started back to school this past Friday...her senior year of high school!  So this week's challenge is all about Summer Fun!

The pictures in my layout are from 2003...now both of those sweet faces are grown...19 and 17!  Thank goodness I still have my last baby who is 4 to keep me young and to have many more summers with <3

Be sure and check out what the rest of the Design Team came up with...and we look forward to seeing what you come up with as well!

Having fun on a new bicycle.

I created a layout of my granddaughter keeping cool by playing in the sprinkler.

Amy
I have created a pocket page spread for this weeks challenge documenting our family holiday from earlier in the year (our Summer here in Australia). I will have a process video up on my YouTube channel later in the week for this one too.

When I think of summer, I think of play and bright, happy colors.  For this challenge, I decided to PLAY in my art journal with bright happy colors.

We can't wait to see what you create! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Challenge #324 - Triangles

Hello Everyone. Tina picked this fun week of hosting and the challenge this week is Triangles!  Let's see these lovely shapes on your project for the week.......
This is what Tina created for this challenge:

Triangles everywhere! you can see more details about this layout over at my blog

Let's take a look at what the other designers created for this fun challenge....

Stephanie

I used triangles in the form of pennants to showcase pictures of my Grandpa back in the 1930's playing football for his high school team.

I used lots of older Amy Tangerine for my layout that includes a background paper with triangles, some little triangle stickers and some die cut triangles.

I went with a die cut that had some triangle elements in it for my layout which I backed with Disney paper from Simple Stories and Echo Park.

This is my ATC, using Viva Las VegaStamps images, a Darkroom Door background stamp and a sentiment from Kaisercraft.

Thanks so much for joining us today! We can't wait to see what you create!
