UYS # 310 - Mood Board

Hello :) Tina here this week with this fun challenge! Mood Board inspiration as below (be inspired by the mood board below to create your project. It could be colors, shapes, items, etc). I jumped on this challenge as soon as I seen the bird photo in the bottom left corner :) There is so many themes that you can create from this mood board.

Here is what I created :) I was inspired by the young bird, by the flowers and by the soft colors. You can see more about this project over at my blog:

Now lets see what the girls created from this fun challenge:

I've been working on this mini since I saw the ultra-feminine moodboard.
(more pix and pages on blog)

The flowers in the mood board reminded of a pictures I took a few years back of peonies blooming along the parade path during my town's Spring Fling celebration.

I used Simple Stories Romance Collection for this layout about me and my wonderful hubby.

Amanda

I was inspired by the colors on the board to create this card.

We look forward to seeing your creation from this fun challenge.....

Challenge #309 - Vellum

Hello! Gail here with this week's challenge: VELLUM

We'd like you to use some vellum on your project this week.

Here's my quick and easy card. I took some gold printed vellum and coloured the backs of the flowers with distress ink.

Here's what the other team members have come up with:

Amanda

I'm using up some vellum scraps and getting a head start on some Christmas cards.
For this one I backed the tag with some vellum and
also punched some snowflakes out of some vellum.

I found a piece of vellum with a sentiment stamped already in my stash and thought it suitable for the challenge :)

I used different colours of distress oxides on the background of my tag, I just swiped the pads over the tag and added a little water, added a little wooden heart and tadaaaa .... ready!

I heat embossed black embossing powder on Vellum Cardstock and then colored the back side of the butterfly with Stampin' Up Blends.

Amy
For my project I created some vellum embellishments as well as added a layer of vellum behind my photo. There will be a process video up on my channel through the week.
Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, text

I used printed "brother"vellum behind the pictures of my 2 boys.

I embossed a piece of vellum with my swiss dot embossing folder for the front of my card.

Challenge #308: Babies

Hi!  It's time for a new challenge? It's Beth here bringing you this week's challenge. It's time for a Baby Challenge, this week we want to see your scrapbook pages, cards or projects relating to Babies.

Here is a look at what the design team has created, please click on their name to see more details on their blog post:

Beth
My youngest is graduating from high school in a couple weeks, so I typically just make Baby cards for gifts.  I used the Eclipse technique to raise the "BABY" after I stamped Stampin' Up's Baby Bear on the cardstock.  The colors are Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana.

-For this project, I created a scrapbook page featuring my mother playing outside with her sister when she was a toddler.  This has always been one of my favorite pictures of my Mom (she has the pompon on her forehead), and thought what a perfect subject matter for this week's theme!

This challenge is  dear to my heart ~ our youngest GK just turned 1 year old,
they grow up so fast!
Next thing you know she'll want to drive

Chris
We have no more babies at our house - even our granddaughters are now teenagers.  But I found these sweet photos from 2004 that I've never scrapped before.  Emma is now 16 and Paige is 15.  Where did the time go?

 Majo

Well, as an empty nester I don't have too much to do with babies nowadays, so I have decided on a Journal Page with a "new beginning"

Amanda
I'm so far behind on scrapping I don't think I'll ever run out of photos of babies!
Here is a layout of my oldest (now five and a half) when he was just 4 months old.
There is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping baby!

I love this scrapbook page using all squares.  Great way to use up your scraps.

Red Obsession Cards

What a beautiful square card with cute coloring and lots of great details, including the subtle square background that frames the colored image.

Sarah JW

Sarah did an amazing job on the card, but also created a cute box to house the card.
