Challenge #242 - Show us your *Chippie*!

Hi there! It's Majo here today to share with you a tag I created using an EyeConnect Crafts Chipboard heart.

I think what makes this heart so beautiful is the fact that it has holes already punched in it, so it's easy to lace it up with whatever twine or cord you choose.

This is what this weeks challenge is all about:

Chipboard

Use any kind on your layout, card, tag or ATC.

I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here is my little inspiration for you:

.... and a little close up from my "broken" heart ....

See all the beautiful creations from our Design Team:

I used a decorate chipboard piece between the
top and bottom pattern papers on the front of my card.

One of the Christmas chipboard ornaments I am preparing for my house colored with Versacolor and Distress inks. Then I applied transparent glitter

Amanda

My husband asked me last minute for a birthday card for a coworker so I grabbed some scraps and a piece of chipboard and a couple brads and this came together quickly! The chipboard is the blue frame - it was originally brown and I used some glimmer mist to change the colour.

I created a card thinking in love. I used a piece of natural chipboard that I painted with Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels. All the details about my card are HERE.

Renee

For this challenged, I reached WAY back in my stash and used some Silhouette brand chipboard (designed to be used in a die cut machine) to create this Turkey clip for my planner spread.

Challenge #241 - Grid Layout

Happy Monday! Khristina here...welcome to another week of challenges and I am so excited to bring you this one! One of my favorite go-to design elements is using a grid layout! There are so many different ways to use grids in your projects and they can be adapted to work with cards, layouts, home decor, and so many other projects! This week, I am challenging you to create with a grid! You can choose any size you like with any type of project. The beauty of a grid is being able to choose sizes and design elements that work for you! Here are a couple of my recent projects using grid layouts and they both have process videos on my You Tube channel if you wanna check those out too...

Just look at these amazing projects from the rest of the design team...

Photos taken at the Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto (Canada).  For closeups and product list, check out my blog.

I put my photos in the grid pattern.  This design showcases perfectly the
great creations our awesome cleaner left us in our room in Mexico.
We'd never seen an elephant or rabbit done before!

This week I decided to create a card using the challenge "grid layout".

I really hope that you will play along this week! Please link up your project below so that we can check out what you are creating with grids this week.

Challenge #240 - Fall Y'All

Hello all!  It's Renee here hosting this weeks challenge.  I love fall.  I love the colors, cooler temperatures, boots and especially pumpkin spice lattes.  For this weeks challenge, we are focusing on fall.  What's your favorite thing about fall.  Do a layout, card or spread showcasing all things fall. For my project, I created a fall themed planner spread.  I colored a cute doll stamp holding a pumpkin spiced latte with her hat and boots on.  I also used stickers in fall colors as well as a little fall inspired patterned papers.

So, show us your fall themed projects below.  We would love to see them. Here is a look at the Design teams take on the fall challenge.
A Thanksgiving card for an American friend.
My son loves playing in the leaves at the park...so I created this fun layout!
Amanda  It's harder than it looks to get these two to look at the camera at the same time! I think the color of their coats goes so well with the fall leaves!

Maria Pilar Welcoming the fall with this card
Tina Fall is about the leaves changing color in my area of the states and it's always nice to take a road trip to see it

A quick card to share using a fun glitter technique... Stop by my blog for all the details!

Don't forget to link up below so we can stop by and see how you celebrate fall!

I created this Halloween Tag in Mixed Media style. I used Gesso and texture paste for my background, some Tim Holtz Stamps and dies from a Stamp-/die set from Sizzix.

Happy Haunting ♥

There's more Halloween treat boxes on my blog today.  These are the perfect size for two Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins.
