Challenge #368: Romance
Hey everyone! Welcome to this week's challenge where the theme is ROMANCE!
Your project could be about young love, old love, a romantic movie, date, a significant other, pretty much anything that shows romance to you! We can't wait to see what you create and here's some great inspiration from the DT this week!
This is a "romantic" picture from my honeymoon in Aruba 20 years ago.
I wasn't expecting this type of title or journaling for the beginning page of our vacation last year with this stop in Canton, OH to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Love the stenciling of the hearts about the layout. Added a few foam footballs for the theme of the layout :) A decent selfie of us too.
Karrie
My son just announced that he and his GF got engaged! So romantic!

Highlights Challenge #366: Birds, Bees, & Butterflies
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Birds, Bees, and Butterflies challenge. It was so interesting to see what angle each of you took in creating a project with this theme. I picked three projects to highlight, one from each of our three themes, that caught my eye. Here we go!
I loved the silhouettes of the birds in the background of this extremely "punny" card. I also liked how so many different patterns and colors of paper work together to make the barn theme pop.
I loved the "buzz" all over this card; the colors, the font, the embellishments. Simply adorable.
And finally the butterfly. Not only did I love all the natural colors and placement of papers and embellishments throughout this project, the butterfly in the stars at the top of the page was the perfect touch.
It's always fun for me to see all the interpretations of a challenge. Thank you to all who participated and please continue to play with us at Use Your Stuff!

Challenge #367 - Masculine
Hello All! Renee here hosting this week's challenge. This week the challenge is masculine. I don't know about you, but I always forget to do masculine projects for the guys in my life. I always tend towards girly projects. I was thankful for the push to do a masculine card.
For my project I created this card using a cute boy stamp which I altered to look like my son who will most likely get this card.
Below are the other projects created by our design team. When you are done perusing these, don't forget to like up your project to the challenge.
Here's my masculine card for this challenge.
Amanda
I tend to gravitate toward stars for masculine projects!
I did this card for my son to give to a little friend of his for his birthday this week.

Challenge #366: Birds, Bees, or Butterflies
Welcome to this week's challenge at Use Your Stuff. This week, we are challenging you to create a project that uses one or all of the 3 b's; birds, bees or butterflies. These are a few projects our DT created for this theme:
For this project, I featured pictures of my family discovering bird eggs during the Spring.
I have used the Tim Holtz stamps with according dies. The background is stamped with an image form VivaLasVegaStamps.
Karrie
used this butterfly spot to journal on and another for decoration in my cluster.
Doing some Birdwatching even on vacation
Here's my Bird Ballad Lever card. On my blog post I have a link to my You Tube video showing how to make a lever card.
We are excited to see what you all do with this project. Make sure to link up by Saturday 7/13!

Challenge #365 - Music
Amanda here with this week's challenge! The theme this week is Music! This is one of my absolute favourite things to scrap! I would estimate that 75% of my layouts have been inspired by music in some way, whether it be lyrics, song title or artist name! So for this week we want to see how music inspires you to create!
For my project this week I used the title and lyrics to my country's national anthem
- only fitting to do a layout since today is Canada Day!
- only fitting to do a layout since today is Canada Day!
This is what the DT came up with!
Doreen
I used the song "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold to scrap that time that my husband
had someone to go on "Supreme Scream" with, because I'm too chicken to do it, LOL
Product Info: Elle's Studio, Kelly Purkey, Simple Stories, Tim Holtz,
and Webster's Pages
Gail
My card includes musical note patterned paper and a stamped tag that has musical notes in the background.
