Highlights: Flora & Fauna
Thank you again to everyone who participated in our "Flora and Fauna" challenge at Use Your Stuff. I think this was the first time I've ever had to scroll through multiple pages to admire all the entries. With so many gorgeous projects to choose from, this was not an easy decision. I went back several times enjoying all the projects, but these three kept bringing a smile to my face.
This box is simply adorable! Can you imagine the joy someone is going to have opening up this box and finding a cute little blue bird with loads of colorful flowers? Absolutely gorgeous!
This sweet little chick sitting atop a branch with brightly colored berries caught my eye instantly. Such a great use of inks and die cuts.
I just had a conversation with my husband about dandelions. Why are they considered weeds? They are beautiful flowers in all their forms. And this little badger hanging out in the dandelion patch is the perfect touch for this project.
Once again, thanks to all of you who took part in our Flora and Fauna challenge. Please continue to play along with us at Use Your Stuff!

Challenge #356 Yarn/String/Twine
Hello UYS Fans! Chris here to host this week's fun challenge to use Yarn, String or Twine on your project. I hope you come play along with us and share your creations!
For my layout, I wanted to create a heart using the string art technique. Although it was my first attempt, I'm happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to try it again.

I was inspired by the kite in the picture, so I decided to make my own kite for this project using a gold heart die cut and a piece of baker's twine.
I used Elastic Cord for my Mini Book.

I have a video showing how to make these easy boxes for gifting full size Snickers or Milky Way candy bars.
*** The linky has been added, so if you have a project from Monday or Tues, please feel free to back link it! **

Challenge #355 Easter/Spring
Hello all! Renee here with the challenge this week. This week we are focusing on Easter or Spring. So, grab your supplies and play along with us.
For my project, I colored a digital image of a little girl hunting easter eggs and used supplies I haven't touched in years, like paper flowers, to make a happy springy Easter card.
I am looking forward to what you all create!

Tulips always remind me of spring.

I was inspired by the word "Spring" to finally scrap these photos from "Springfield"
that I took on our family's first visit to Universal Studios in 2016
I had a couple extra photos to fit on the page so I used a Simple Stories flip pocket
(see 2nd photo).
(see 2nd photo).
I apologize for the glare of the photo protectors:
I was able to fit a total of 7 photos on this one page!

Highlights for Challenge #352: Black and White
Sorry for the delay in getting the highlights for the Black and White challenge posted. It's been a hectic few weeks at my house. But boy was I blown away by all the gorgeous black and white projects all of you created for the challenge! Below are three that caught my eye.
My daughter graduates from High School this year. With all the parties in the near future, I loved the simplicity and elegance of this graduation card.
The blue ink accenting the inkwell, postage, and feather stamp was the perfect amount of color to set off this black and white project.
I love Halloween projects! I especially was drawn to the intricate fence design and the happy orange pumpkins.
Thank you again to all who participated in the Black and White challenge. Please keep playing along with us at Use Your Stuff! We have some challenges on the horizon.

Challenge #354: Flora and Fauna
Welcome to this week's challenge here at Use Your Stuff. With the seasons starting to change, we'd like you to get into the spirit of Spring by creating a project featuring flora and fauna. In other words, create a project that includes plants and animals. We can't wait to see what you create!
For my flora & fauna project, I decided to feature a picture of my daughter posing with her cat in front of my favorite hydrangea bush at my old house.
Are insects an animal?
Chris
I used a photo of my daughter's sweet pup Dolly and Pink Paislee floral die cut bend up paper.
Karrie
Tho they are still covered with snow, these are the pretty flora
that grace our yard, with absolutely no effort from us.
Added a metal butterfly (fauna?)
I made this wedding card thinking the challenge was flora or fauna. So I only have flora except I'm sure there's a bee in the flowers somewhere! Please visit my blog to see this fun fold card.

I also have Flora only ....

Challenge #353 - Fuzzy Wuzzy
Amanda here with this week's challenge.
This week our topic is "Fuzzy Wuzzy".
Your project can by anything that is inspired by the term Fuzzy Wuzzy.
For mine I was inspired by these photos of my son with his giant cookie monster!
I used some of the lyrics from the Fuzzy Wuzzy song on the page as well.

This is what our design team came up with!

Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear....

Well, I guess my TN page leans more towards "furry" than "fuzzy"
but it is about an animal, which is what Fuzzy Wuzzy is!
Easter box card that will make a cute table decoration.
When I see photos of my granddaughter when she was a baby - I definitely get that "Fuzzy Wuzzy" feeling!
