Challenge #81 - Celebrate an Accomplishment
It's another week, and time for another challenge! This week I challenge you all to celebrate an accomplishment. It could be a page about something you or someone you love have accomplished, or a card for someone close to you who has done something great.
Milena
I decided I would do a page about myself ~gasp. I did this layout of a run I did a couple of years ago. I was (and still am) very proud of myself for completing it. Now I just need to get out there and run it again!!!
Barb
My layout this week is all about when my two older boys went for their driving test to get their licence. One ended up passing, and one didn't.
Lynne
I decided to do a layout from this past Fall about my nephew as a Bar Mitzvah, the day he 'became a man' under Jewish law after years of studying Torah. I have scrapped this subject before, but this one is for a new heritage album I am putting together.

Challenge #80 Music & Lyrics
Hey there crafty people, happy Monday!
Music & Lyrics is not just a cute rom com movie, it can be a very influential part of our lives. It can raise you up, make you cry and I think; is so much more enjoyable in the car, on a warm day, while driving with the windows down. :)
This weeks challenge is to use a song title or part of the lyrics to a song as your title. We can't wait to see what song inspires you.
I used a part of the lyrics from White Christmas for my title on this layout...
Milena
This was a lot of fun for me! I used the title of an old Eddie Murphy/Rick James song to do a page about my daughter. The irony is that she is more of a homebody than a party girl!
Lynne
I have done quite a few of these layouts, so I had to hunt for pictures and then find a song title to go with them. I enjoyed putting this together and smiled all the time I was creating it.

#79 - Sketch Challenge
Welcome to another week on Use Your Stuff.
This week we are going to do a sketch challenge. It's not just any sketch, but a sketch by Kristine Davidson on Creative Scrappers. This month she is hosting a sketch challenge which is sponsored by Scrapbook Nerd. The winner of the sketch challenge will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Scrapbook Nerd online store (have you checked them out?? You need to!)
Link your completed project here, but be sure to hop over to Creative Scrappers to share you project there for a chance to win the gift certificate.

and here's my finished layout based on the sketch. I used the new Basic Grey Lines of Hey You and Hey Boy for this layout. Everything is from those two lines, except the "visiting" which is the Mini Market letter stickers. All these products can be found at Scrapbook Nerd.

My son and daughter-in-law came by yesterday with the newest addition to their family. I now have a grand-pup as they have not named him yet. He even got along will with my dog. Perfect!
Milena
I love that sketch! I did this page of my youngest daughter and the bridge she constructed for a grade 5 project.

Challenge #78 - It's Not Easy Being GREEN
Pantone says that this season's color is Emerald GREEN . This weeks challenge is to do a monochromatic layout using Green. A monochromatic layout is one color plus white and/or black. I admit my white is more creamy, but you get the idea.
I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

I don't often use a lot of green but I dug into my supplies and came up with this:
